The Madrid-based company  Morboria Teatro presents Lo que son mujeres, an 17th Century comedy written by Rojas Zorrilla, adapted and directed by Eva del Palacio.

Lo que son mujeres is one of the most signifiicative works of Rojas Zorrilla (1607 1648). A very peculiar comedy, an original and fun divertiment in which a theatrical and extravagant game is proposed, with two orphan sister as its protagonists, Serafina y Matea, with oposing personalities and a huge temper.

With this play, Morboria celebrates its 40th anniversary as a company, celebrating with a bang rescuing this comedy from being forgotten, as it has been over 150 years since it was played even though, during the 17th and 18th Centuries, it delighted the audiences of Corrales de comedias and Coliseos.
