La Capilla Herreriana, an instrumental and cocal association specialised on spanish baroque and virreinal music, brings to Guadarrama  “La aventura de Magallanes-Elcano” (The adventure of Magallanes-Elcano), directed by David Trillo.

The performance narrates the travel that would become the first trip around the world in Charles V times, started by Fernando de Magallanes and finished by Sebastián Elcano. It’s told from the playbook written by italian Antonio Pigafetta, who was on the ship that made this achievement, playing music of the same era as the texts that chronicle the expedition.
